Vermeer trenchers are designed for simultaneous cutting, excavation and disposal of excavated material.
Depending on the trencher model, they can be used for various purposes: from small interventions such as shallow utility installation in the soft ground, all the way to the deep and wide trenches for installation of various types of main lines in extremly hard rock conditions.
The main advantages of the Vermeer trenchers are fast excavation, clean and stable trench but also the possibility of using excavated backfill material. Consequently, the overall cost of operation is lower.
